Mr. Bask Iyer has been the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of VMware, Inc., since March 23, 2015. Mr. Iyer served as the Chief Information Officer of Juniper Networks Inc., since July 8, 2011 and served as its Senior Vice President of Technology & Business Operations. A respected industry veteran, Mr. Iyer has more than 25 years of experience in executing and driving change in traditional Fortune 100 manufacturing companies as well as Silicon Valley-based high technology firms. He was responsible for its technology and business operations, including critical services around business transformation, global business services, IT and real estate and workplace services. Mr. Iyer has extensive experience as a Strategic and Operational Leader. Mr. Iyer was responsible for protecting all of Juniper Networks' critical information, intellectual property and physical resources, as well as implementing a strategic plan that ensures all information technology systems are aligned to support its multi-year growth agenda and operational objectives. He served as Senior Vice President of Juniper Networks, Inc. He served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Honeywell International Inc. until July 2011 and served as its Head of Global Security organization and Functional Transformation efforts since April 12, 2010. He served as Chief Information Officer for Honeywell Transportation Systems and General Manager for Asia Pacific. Mr. Iyer was with Honeywell for more than 10 years, served in various corporate, business and regional Information Technology (IT) leadership roles. Prior to that, he was with GlaxoSmithKline Beecham for five years as Chief Information Officer for Consumer Healthcare R&D. He has also held senior positions at Johnson & Johnson and CTS Corporation. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Annamalai University in India.
