Joseph Brown — President of Federal Services Group at VSE Corporation

Mr. Joseph R. Brown, also known as JR, has been President of Federal Services Group at VSE Corp. since May 2015. Mr. Brown leads the 850-person team, whose primary focus is refurbishment services to extend and enhance the life of existing vehicles and equipment, fleet-wide ship and aircraft support, aircraft sustainment and maintenance, foreign military sales and other technical, management, engineering, logistics, maintenance, configuration management, prototyping, technology and field support services to the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, U.S. Army and Army Reserve, U.S. Air Force and other U.S. and foreign military customers. He has over 19 years of experience as a program and business unit manager at VSE. Prior to joining VSE in 1996, Mr. Brown served 20 years active duty in the U.S. Navy. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from University of Maryland University College and an Associate of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
