VSP needs to get its act together. New leadership looks promising, although heavy load of old leadership is still worrisome. Stale leadership needs to be cut otherwise this company is unlikely to move the needle anytime soon.

Far too many meetings. Far too many decision makers. Too little action.

Worried that company will be put out of business by fast moving competition.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
General culture is good. However most people feel they do not have real opportunities for advancement, so the work effort is marginal for majority of the workforce. Most people just cruise after exhausting their team and passion for the company.
