Community Impact and Philanthropy
Each year we sponsor college scholarships to 20 deserving graduating High School students each year from our Cooperative membership. In 2021, we provided more than $ 200,000 for a total of more than 60 scholarships.
In addition, each year we support deserving philanthropic organizations. The list includes such notable charities as Habitat for Humanity, local food banks, local Volunteer Fire Departments, Family Crisis Center, Loaves and Fishes, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots, The Red Cross, Wounded Warriors, Teach for America, and various child advocacy centers. In 2021, VTX1 and its employees donated more than $ 290,000.
