What are some of the best things about your team? The best part is, I don't have to spend a lot of time with them.
What did you like most about the interview process?I was hired by a company that I believed in.
What is the best part about your compensation package?Hourly wage is low based on health threats and the hazardous materials around
What does the leadership team need to get better at?A little less "because I said so". A little more " let's work on this ".
What needs to change to make the company culture better?Better management. Better training for new drivers. Understanding that we are people not robots. Not working six days a week. Or If working Five days, to have two consecutive days off.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved? Not enough local contact with customers. They have to go through a broker or a corporate account. They cannot call their local office for faster service. They always complain about delays in service. As a driver it makes me feel lousy to tell a customer that I only go where they send me.
