He served as Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Oilfield Water Logistics, LLC since November 2015 until November 21, 2016. He served as Executive vice president, Chief financial officer and General counsel of Dallas-based Oilfield Water Logistics. He served as the Chief Compliance Officer, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Eagle Rock Energy G&P LLC, a general partner of Eagle Rock Energy GP, L.P., a general partner of Eagle Rock Energy Partners, L.P. from August 2007 to October 8, 2015. Prior to joining Eagle Rock, Mr. Boettcher served as a Partner in the law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP since March 2006, primary outside counsel to Eagle Rock. He was employed at NGP Energy Capital Management. During his eight years at Thompson & Knight, he practiced law in the Corporate and Securities department and focused his practice on mergers and acquisitions in the oil and gas industry and securities compliance and disclosure for public companies. Mr. Boettcher received a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Dakota and a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law.
