WEG is a leading global manufacturer of automation technologies, creating energy efficient solutions with electric machines. Our power generation, transmission and distribution solutions enable those across many industries, especially in the oil & gas, water, power distribution, chemical and petrochemical markets, to operate more efficiently, and to reduce energy usage, carbon emissions and environmental impact.Our portfolio includes a wide range of products including transformers, LV control gear, generators, inverter drive systems, soft starters, LV and HV motors, ATEX- compliant explosion proof motors, smoke extraction motors and full turnkey systems. In addition, we manufacture industrial paints and varnishes. Founded in 1961 in Brazil, WEG operates in 23 countries and employs more than x people worldwide.
