Karen Flynn — Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Vice President at West Pharmaceutical Services

Ms. Karen A. Flynn has been Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Vice President at West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. since January 2016. Ms. Flynn served as the President of The Pharmaceutical Packaging Systems Business at West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. since October 2014 until January 2016. Ms. Flynn is responsible for the West largest division, with global sales in excess of $1 billion. Ms. Flynn served as the President of America's Region of West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. until October 2014. Ms. Flynn President of Pharmaceutical Packaging Systems Americas Region at West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. from June 2012 to October 7, 2014, where she was responsible for both the manufacturing and commercial aspects of the business, including management of finance, operations, supply chain, sales, marketing, quality, research and development and human resources. She served as Vice President of Sales at West Pharmaceutical from May 2008 to June 2012. From 2000 to 2008, Ms. Flynn served at Catalent, formerly known as Cardinal Health, where she served in Sales Management, finishing her career there as Vice President, Global Accounts. Prior to Catalent, she served for 15 years at West, in numerous roles spanning general management, commercial operations, business development, product launch preparation and finance. She has been an Independent Director of Recro Pharma, Inc. since September 3, 2015. She is a member of the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, the Forum of Executive Women and serves on the Downingtown STEM Academy Advisory Board. Ms. Flynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Professional Studies from The University of Notre Dame, a Master of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and a Master of Science in Engineering from The University of Pennsylvania.
