What is the best part about your compensation package?
I appreciate the health plan we have and the dental, vision, coverage too. It's made very affordable for me. I highly value MY TIAA account, that I take with me when I leave, and the contributions made by the org.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No career growth. Impossible to get promoted
What are some of the best things about your team?
The best part about WestEd is the people. They are committed to the org's mission and do excellent work. At the same time, they are caring and supportive of one another.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Good support for work/life balance. Constructive feedback, collegiality vs competition. Support for social interaction and getting to know the who the people you work with are. Not all work and no play.

More support from leadership and managers
What did you like most about the interview process?
Performance tasks to test relevant knowledge and skills. A few steps, but each one allowed me to ask questions of different people.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
More interaction with the leadership team.
What makes you most happy at work?
My colleagues. The mission. The focus on making education work for all kids.
