Mr. James K. Welsh, Jim, III serves as an Executive Vice President at Western Digital Corporation. Mr. Welsh has been General Manager of Branded Products of Western Digital Corporation since 2005. He joined Western Digital as Vice President in 2005 and leads Western Digital's branded products and consumer electronics business units. Mr. Welsh is responsible for all aspects of design, manufacture and sales of WD-branded external storage and home entertainment products, as well as sales of packaged internal hard drives through retail channels. He also continues to drive WD's strategy in the consumer electronics storage markets, which focuses on the CE OEM channel. He has more than two decades of innovation and experience. He served as Vice President of worldwide sales for Maxtor's branded products Group, where he served for more than 12 years in a number of sales and business development management roles. His background also includes sales roles for NEC. Mr. Welsh earned a Bachelor's degree from Brown University.
