Beth Satterfield — Head of Market Development and Managing Director at William Blair

Ms. Beth A. Satterfield has been Head of Market Development and Managing Director at William Blair & Company, L.L.C. since August 2015. Ms. Satterfield served as Chief Operating Officer at Aurora Investment Management L.L.C. since joining it in October 2012. Previously, she was the Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Glencoe Capital Holdings, LLC from 2000 to 2012. She was also the firm's primary liaison with the banking community. She served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Glencoe Capital Michigan Opportunities Fund, L.P. Previously, Ms. Satterfield was a Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer since 2003 at Leoville Holdings and joined it in 2000. Prior to this, she was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Stockwell Capital LLC. Before moving into executive management roles, Ms. Satterfield had considerable deal experience with the firm's affiliated funds, serving as a Vice President on deal teams for more than three years. Her responsibilities included leading due diligence and deal structuring efforts for various portfolio companies, working with management teams designing business and financial strategies and serving as primary liaison to the banking community. Prior to this, Ms. Satterfield was the First Vice President of the Leveraged Finance Group at LaSalle Bank and BANA Holding Corporation. Previously, she was the Vice President of Corporate Banking Group at JP Morgan Chase from 1990 to 1994. Ms. Satterfield sits on various portfolio companies' Boards. She served as Director of Polyair Inter Pack Inc. from July 2005 to January 2008. Ms. Satterfield was a Member of the Board of Directors of System Development Integration, Inc. She earned an M.B.A. degree from the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business in 1998 and a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of Illinois in 1990.
