John Brennan — Head of Private Wealth Management at William Blair

Mr. John L. Brennan serves as Head of Private Wealth Management at William Blair & Company, L.L.C. Mr. Brennan served as Chicago Market President and Illinois State President of Bank of America Corporation since December 2005 until November 2007. He served as President of the Central Region of Private Bank at Bank of America Corp. since August 22, 2005. He was responsible for providing an array of wealth management services and advice to high net worth individuals and families across 32 Private Bank offices and fifteen states: Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. Mr. Brennan joined Bank of America in 1985 and has gained deep experience in multiple lines of business. Mr. Brennan held leadership roles in Change Management and Corporate Marketing, where he was a West region executive. In 2001, he returned to his hometown of Chicago as market executive for The Private Bank. Mr. Brennan serves on the Boards of the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Shedd Aquarium and WTTW 11. He serves as a Vice Chairman of Window to the World Communications, Inc. Mr. Brennan serves as a Trustee of Rush University Medical Center and Window to the World Communications, Inc. He serves as Secretary of St. Isaac Jogues Parent Student Association. He serves as Director of Chicago Public Library Foundation. He is also a Member of the Economic Club of Chicago. Mr. Brennan received BA and MBA degrees from Vanderbilt University.
