A. Christopher Fawzy — Corporate VP, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer at Woodward

Mr. A. Christopher Fawzy has been General Counsel and Company Secretary of Woodward, Inc. since June 19, 2007 and has been its Chief Compliance Officer since August 2009. Mr. Fawzy has been Corporate Vice President at Woodward, Inc. since October 2009 and served as its Vice President since June 19, 2007 until September 2009. He joined Woodward from Mentor Corporation in California, a medical device company, where he served as its Vice President since October 2005 and General Counsel since December 2003 and also as its Secretary and Consultant. Mr. Fawzy negotiated significant transactions including U.S. and international acquisitions and divestitures and other material agreements, supervised litigation and was responsible for corporate governance and legal compliance. Before joining Mentor in 2001, Mr. Fawzy was in private practice as a commercial litigator at Casey & Brannen, P.C. Mr. Fawzy is a Member of the State Bar of Illinois and is a Registered In-House Counsel member of the State Bar of California. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Illinois and a Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law.
