Mr. Timothy L. Lanier, also known as Tim, has been President of Upper Extremities at Wright Medical Group N.V. since June 2016. Mr. Lanier served as Vice President of Sales for US at DFINE Inc. from September 2013 to June 2016. He has over 25 years of sales experience in the medical device industry in both small and large companies that include various medical specialties such as orthopedics, vascular, oncology and ophthalmology. From July 2010 to September 2013, Mr. Lanier served as Vice President of US Sales for the Endovascular Division of Covidien plc. He joined Covidien in July 2010 through the acquisition of ev3 Inc., where he served as Area Vice President from January 2008 to July 2010. At Covidien, he built a world-class sales organization responsible for driving US sales to $473M with over 400 sales personnel while meeting financial objectives. He was successful in leading the Covidien through the acquisition of FoxHollow Technologies. In addition, he merged the Endoarterial and Endovenous businesses at Covidien to form the Endovascular Sales organization. Mr. Lanier held executive positions at Anulex Technologies and Zimmer Spine/Spine Tech as their Vice President of US Sales. He served as Vice President of Commercial Operations at Anulex Technologies, Inc. from January 2007 to January 2008. He had increasing executive responsibility at Zimmer Orthopedics, Spine Division and Spine-Tech, Inc. from 1997 to 2007, including Vice President of Commercial Operations. Mr. Lanier holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of La Verne, La Verne, CA.
