Xeltis Company Overview
Developer of synthetic biodegradable heart valves and blood vessels. The company manufactures and develops fully bioabsorbable synthetic heart valves and vascular grafts that enable the patient's own body to naturally form a new heart valve through a therapeutic approach called Endogenous Tissue Restoration. With ETR, the patient's natural healing system develops tissue that pervades Xeltis' heart valve, forming a new, natural and fully functional valve within it. As ETR occurs, Xeltis implants are gradually absorbed by the body.
Xeltis was founded in 2006 and its current CEO is Laurent Grandidier. Since its inception 20 years ago, Xeltis has grown to 35 employees.
