Get to know your employees! Try to actually care about them and make them feel appreciated. Verbally abusing them is not the way to treat them. Give back to them, acknowledge and reward when accomplishments are made. Diversify!
What do people at Xplore Technologies think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Verbally abusive. Looks at all of those below him as his servants and peasants. Makes zero effort to get to know his employees on a personal level. Town Hall meetings that should typically give a status update and lift moral have more of a rant and tongue lashing from dad feel. You will always witness and hear him screaming at someone on the daily.
How's the work life balance at Xplore Technologies?
Nonexistent. Expect to still receive phone calls requesting you to log in and perform a job function on your days off.
Does Xplore Technologies have any remote positions?
Only in foreign territories or sales. Working remotely is HIGHLY HIGHLY discouraged and frowned upon. Even on "working from home" days you are required to use your Vacation/PTO.
How does Xplore Technologies make decisions around promotions?
Never witnessed a single person get promoted in any department during the years I was there. Only lateral shifts to other departments whether they were qualified for the position or not.
How's the vacation policy at Xplore Technologies?
Terrible. Standard entry level 2 weeks. Vacation time is not respected when taken.
