Mr. Arkady Borkovsky serves as the Chief Technology Officer of Yandex Labs at Yandex N.V. and Yandex LLC. Mr. Borkovsky co-founded Arkadia. Mr. Borkovsky joined Yandex in 2008, Mr. Borkovsky was a Relevance Scientist at Yahoo!, Inktomi, Verity and Knight Ridder / Dialog. He is an expert in search relevance and statistical semantics. At Yahoo!, Mr. Borkovsky built query speller and search suggestions. Prior to Arkadia, he worked at AI Lab of Computer Center of Academy of Sciences of the USSR. He graduated from CS department of the Moscow State University.
