BIO: Mr. Neil C. McArthur, BSc, MBA, MIMechE, FRICS served as Chairman of Executive Board and Chief Executive Officer of Arcadis NV from May 16, 2016 to October 27, 2016 and served as Member of its Executive Board from September 1, 2011 to October 27, 2016. Mr. McArthur served as a Senior Partner and Managing Director of Europe of Booz & Company Inc. He has more than 24 years of experience in the energy, chemicals and utility industries. He has extensive consulting experience leading major assignments across the globe. Mr. McArthur's areas of expertise include: Corporate strategy and mergers & acquisitions; Holding company and business unit organization; Post-merger integration; Major capital projects; Major cost restructuring; Process redesign and transformation; Procurement and supply chain redesign and Shared services design. A recognized thought leader, Mr. McArthur has contributed to numerous publications, including the books CEO-Chief European Officer and Energy Shift. He is a member of the European Executive Council and the Advisory Board for Management Education at INSEAD. Prior to joining Booz & Company, Mr. McArthur worked for Shell International Petroleum B.V. Exploration & Production on assignment in Qatar and the Netherlands. Mr. McArthur received an MBA with distinction from Business School in Fontainebleau (France) in 1990 and a BSc. (1st class Honors, George Harvey Prize) in civil engineering from the University of Glasgow. He is a Chartered Engineer M.I. Mech. Eng. and a Sainsbury Management Fellow.

Dean’s career spans over 35 years across the fields of environmental engineering, residential, commercial and heavy civil infrastructure construction, consulting design and engineering, and business development and sales.??Prior to joining Mott MacDonald he was senior vice president and business development director for Parsons.
