BIO: Jeff’s career in the industry began shortly after graduating from Western Michigan University, and has included experience in the less than truckload sector, as well as full-platform logistics management. He has served many roles with Argus over the past 15 years, establishing the firm’s Intra-European operations, Intra-Mexican operations and Asian operations. His pioneering work includes creating and cultivating the company’s core operating procedures and customer service principles, and his industry insights and expertise have helped drive client engagement and improve carrier and service provider interactions. Jeff has overseen Argus Logistics’ internal accountability initiatives, and he has been the key architect in establishing and differentiating the company’s best-in-class service offerings. He has also been the operational lead in diversifying the Argus Logistics’ client base beyond the automotive sector to include clients in health and beauty aids, retail, home appliances, energy, heavy manufacturing, IT, chemical, after market and publishing. Jeff’s vision and leadership skills have enabled him to represent Argus Logistics as an internal and external leader for the company. Jeff was recently recognized as a 2019 EY Entrepreneur of the Year® award winner in Michigan and Northwestern Ohio. Outside of work, Jeff’s heart is with his family, and he spends most of his free time with his wife, son, daughter and extended family. Jeff believes strongly in giving back!

BIO: Mr. Robert E. Sanchez has been the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Ryder System, Inc. since May 3, 2013 and January 1, 2013 respectively. Mr. Sanchez served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Ryder System, Inc. from February 14, 2012 to December 2012. Mr. Sanchez served as the President of Global Fleet Management Solutions Business at Ryder System, Inc. from September 1, 2010 February 2012. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Ryder System Inc. from October 2007 to September 1, 2010. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Ryder System Inc. from January 2003 to October 2005. He served as Senior Vice President of Global Transportation Management of Ryder from March 2002 to January 2003. He served as Executive Vice President of Operations for Ryders Fleet Management Solutions business segment in the U.S of Ryder System, Inc. from October 2005 to October 2007. He served as Vice President of Asset Management, responsible for establishing an organization, processes and technology for centrally optimizing the lifecycle management of the Ryder System, Inc. $5 billion of vehicle and non-vehicle assets. Mr. Sanchez joined Ryder in 1993 as Senior Business System Designer for Ryder System, Inc. Information Technology (IT) department, where he helped implement an innovative system to improve the management of Ryder System, Inc. fleet of more than 150,000 vehicles. He served with distinction in a number of capacities within Ryder, including Finance Director, Global Pricing Director and Manager of Strategic Planning. Prior to joining Ryder in 1993, he served two years as an applications engineer of Florida Power and Light. He also served as Manager of Hardware Design of Miami Voice Corporation in 1988 and as a Controls Engineer of Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in 1987. He has been an Independent Director of Texas Instruments Incorporated since March 15, 2011 and serves as its Lead Director. He had been a Director of Texas Instruments Inc. since March 15, 2011 until September 30, 2015. He served as the Chair of the 2003 Ryder United Way Campaign and is a member of the United Way Leadership Circle and of the Wharton Alumni Association. He has been a Director of Ryder System, Inc. since January 1, 2013. He serves as a Board Member of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council and the Association of Cuban Engineers. He earned a master of business administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Science from the University of Miami. Mr. Sanchez was the recipient of the 2001 ACE Engineer of the Year Award and the 2002 Young Hispanic Leadership Award.
