Stankey (born 1962) is an American businessman who is the former CEO of WarnerMedia (then Time Warner); currently serving as the CEO of the former's parent company, AT&T after previously serving as the president and COO. Stankey led AT&T's acquisition of DirecTV and Time Warner in 2015 and 2018, respectively. He assumed the CEO role of AT&T effective July 1, 2020, succeeding Randall L. Stephenson.
