Burton has transformed the company into a leading cloud-based HR provider and Professional Employer Organization. TriNet’s net revenue has more than quadrupled during his tenure. To expand TriNet’s market reach and strengthen the company’s ability to serve more clients than ever before, Burton led the company to acquire Gevity, AccordHR, SOI, ExpenseCloud and Ambrose. One of the outcomes of TriNet’s growth was an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in March 2014 followed by a secondary offering in September 2014.
