The Police Athletic League of Philadelphia honored Mr. Roberts with its 2002 award for his commitment to youth programs and community partnerships. He is an All-American squash player, he earned a gold medal with the U.S. squash team in 2005 and silver medals at the 1981, 1985 and 1997 Maccabiah Games in Israel. He co-chaired the 2003 Resource Development Campaign for the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania and was a founding co-chair of Philadelphia 2000, the nonpartisan host committee for the 2000 Republican National Convention. He is a Member of the Business Roundtable and also served on the President's Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. He serves as a Member of the Board of Directors of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association (NCTA), where he served as the Chairman for two consecutive terms. He also serves as Director Emeritus of CableLabs, the research and development consortium for the cable industry, where he served three terms as Chairman. Mr. Roberts received a BS from the Wharton School of Finance from the University of Pennsylvania.

BIO: David Porter is the Managing Director of Vivint, an NRG company, where he leads the award-winning smart home and security brand. Mr. Porter was appointed to his current role in January of 2025, following several years in senior executive roles with Vivint. In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer, he oversaw field operations, supply chain, procurement, and customer experience and retention, helping cement Vivint's position as an innovative leader in the smart home and security industry. Prior to joining Vivint, Mr. Porter spent 14 years at Cummins Inc., a global manufacturer of diesel engines, where he held various leadership and executive roles across manufacturing, procurement, marketing distribution, and logistics. A retired United States Army Captain, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University, and his Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.
