  • I work 40 hours a week, sometimes more if things are crazy and we need all hands on deck. Great team, super supportive.

  • Going to work feels a lot like hanging out with your friends. It's relaxed, everyone looks out for each other. I work full time, 40 hours a week. OT is very, very rare.

  • Pretty average for a startup, better than average for my locale. I work from home, and my area is pretty economically depressed. $15 isn't much in a major metro like SF, but where I live, it's considered almost princely.

  • $15/hour for English only agents, $18/hour for English/Spanish bilingual. $155/month cell phone and internet stipend. Plus 100% company paid health, vision, dental, and life insurance, and $100/month in company credit to buy event tickets.

  • Fast paced, fun, tight-knit. We are FAMILY, and we treat each other like it. There's a little sibling rivalry, as one expects in any healthy family, be we all have each others' backs.

  • Stop pretending that everything is all positive, all the time. Get better communication between departments. Stay on top of sellers so that users who purchased tickets months ago aren't left outside their event ticketless because no one bothered to follow up with the broker and make sure they were actually going to deliver the tickets. "Last minute" might be the company philosophy, but users want their ticket when they pay for it, not at some nebulous time months in the future. Saw way too many customers get burned by this.

    I can't speak for my co-workers, but I love our CEO. He's constantly thinking about ways to improve the product and the company, and is quick to jump on suggestions and see if they'll work. He is very open about how the company is doing, holding a monthly "ask me anything" meeting for the entire company. He is very accessible, easy to communicate with, and when he is wrong, he owns it.

  • I like the CEO well enough. He's passionate and really cares. I think he should spend a little time "in the trenches", so to speak, to get to know more than just the people in the HQ. The company is good at providing great support experiences. They are really bad at reading the room, though, and all of their ads feature sexy young women, with little emphasis on what the company actually DOES.

    Wonderful! Although we have set schedules, we have the ability to trade with co-workers for super flexibility. Emergencies are handled with a wave of the hand and "Go! Take care of yourself and your family, we'll be fine!". When we are off, we are expected and encouraged to be OFF - disconnected and doing something that isn't work.

  • Fine for the remote team. Never had an issue getting time off approved.

  • Not very. People seem to feel threatened by new hires, especially if the new hires are enthusiastic or have broader skillsets.

  • Great! Speaking for myself, I never feel beat down or unappreciated, and I never feel like I need to keep looking over my shoulder to avoid being stabbed in the back. I get the impression my teammates feel the same way. We can relax and be silly with each other and with the management, and still do stellar work.

  • FANTASTIC! Super supportive, criticism is direct and constructive, and not saved up for blindsiding. If you mess up, you're gently corrected. "Hey, not that way, this way." It's easy to trust our management because they don't play games and they genuinely want us to succeed.
