How are layoffs handled in the Product department at StubHub?

Without warning, process, or reason as to who gets laid off. Occurs for many people on the same day regardless of whether or not (soon to be former) employees are in the office, on vacation, or on sabbatical. There is little if any communication and at times even managers don't know who from their teams will be released. Overall very unprofessional and without empathy.
How difficult is it to maintain a social life while in your job at StubHub?
It depends on the team and project.

Stub Hub currently has remote positions, but these positions are being phased out.
What's the company culture like at StubHub?
StubHub one is the motto. It is something being redefined at the moment. Company is trying to organize more brand driven exercises like concerts for employees. Meet and greets at regular intervals. It has a long way to go.
What are your coworkers at StubHub like?
Most of them are smart and hard-working. Management has no clue how tech company needs to run. Engineering though plays a vital role sometimes is ignored for tiny product improvements which makes no sense.

Hub regarding my gift card and tickets since July. Each time I am told it is escalated and someone will call me Back. NO ONE CALLS /EMAILS BACK. I have many “escalated“ emails from stub hub. And no action.
