Backup employees are allowed to take multiple breaks and management understands if you're not feeling well. There are activities and free food on celebration days/holidays and the company is mostly committed to sustainability efforts through recycling and reusing materials.

Looking forward to seeing my coworkers. Having the ability to work at my own pace and feeling proud of my work. Not feeling pressured to complete a project by a certain time or with a team that doesn't contribute.

My team was very diverse in age, race, orientation, etc. so the conversation was always interesting. There were still some mini cliques and not everyone was friendly, but those who were banded together to finish projects whenever management was not available.

Most nights there was only one salesperson for an entire floor. The Merchandisers and backup teams would have to assist customers and act as sales, taking them away from completing their own duties. The backup teams were paid much less than salespersons for doing two jobs.

Visibility - Managers and Team Leads were kept in constant meetings and trainings. If you had a question you had to rely on your co-workers for help even if they were new also. If your issue was something management specific, you had to email and wait days for a reply.

My experience was interviewing at a hiring event. I spoke with a Team Lead from a different department than what I was interviewing for. The Team Lead was easy to talk to and the questions were different from other companies such as 'How comfortable are you working with different types of people?'
