IKEA Leadership Employee Reviews

What do you like best about the leadership team?

they are supportive and can be a bit pushy

Very good guidance and very supportive

I am supported and given te freedom to test and try ideas and lead with autonomy

I don't have a single good thing to say.

Something I don't understand but that's my fault generally

Value driven, caring, believing, walk the talk, availability

Experienced, inspiring, empathetic, warm, resourceful

Review from Operations Dept

brilliant, friendly, supportive, understanding and

That they are accessible and down to earth

the way take care of the employees

Many are extremely talented and knowledgeable in their field. I do feel heard and cared about as an employee.

after the change in leadership to shopkeeper, there are fewer problem leaders with anger management and dictatorial personality problems. There are fewer snitching incidents and better trust among regular teams. Most shopkeepers at Canton aren't on the floor enough to notice the lazy coworkers.

Giving ideas to each other and helping each other to improve our work

Push for healthy compation at the team give direct goals ask for opinions and achive time limits with positive comunication

Very respectful to all employees.

I love them so much there amazing

Openess to change and transformation.

They are committed to the mission and keeping a job.

Just maintaining an appearance of doing there job,

They listen and support and challenge me to grow. They recognizing that each topic is unique and adjusting the way they support as needed.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Communication and training and empathy.

Accountability, vision, and responsibility all need work

Undestanding neurodiverse employees and cutting them some slack and accommodations. They just don't get it.

Review from Sales Dept

Treating employees like real human beings and avoiding micromanaging.

Being fair with all shifts. Stop showing favoritism

All about themselves looking at the expense of over working employees

They need to understand how they've created an environment where coworkers loathe coming to work because they don't feel supported and have watched too many colleagues be handed severance. The remaining team can not sustain what a far larger organization used to. Decisions aren't based in reality.

Completely disconnected from the operatioanl team and the daily challenges they face.

Communication ,organization, managers have no idea what they are doing sometimes and are disconnected with the workers.

The managers need to treat employees with respect.

Streamline processes, organize a training routine thats hands on, making sure the employees feel comfortable in their rules. And less meetings so that allows more time on the salesfloor

developing and following a road map

Everything, but mostly paying attention to employee needs

Visibility - Managers and Team Leads were kept in constant meetings and trainings. If you had a question you had to rely on your co-workers for help even if they were new also. If your issue was something management specific, you had to email and wait days for a reply.
