Great environment, great people. Since the company is employee owned, each person makes decisions to benefit the company because it benefits all owners. Company does truly believe in bring affordable food to families. Management is approachable and cares.

Overall a great company to work for. The best health insurance plan I've ever seen. Amazing retirement plan. Only real weakness is communication.

Store 132 was great, Jayson Abbott was a great manager when I was there and Junior Espinosza was an amazing ASM, I transferred to store 25 and have loved working with ASM Kelsey, however I have been bullied by a Lead Clerk continually even after speaking with manager Derrick. Nothing has changed.

I actually enjoyed working but I need to have more of a consistent schedule and my manager was not providing that. I asked numerous times but he just got frustrated and very short with me. My regular schedule was given to another employee they had to remove from another department not right

The accessibility to speak to them, and they do not act or treat co-workers as if they are "above" or "better than" others in the company. They are respectful and caring about those who work in the company.

What leadership? My department manager is yelled at for a single box being empty on the floor. Upper management gets paid 100k while we get payed pennies and have our hours cut. They dont listen, nor care. They don't treat us as human beings.

The health insurance package is amazing. Great coverage, low deductible and super low premiums. The ESOP is another perk that if you look into it, it is an addition to your compensation.

There's other stores where employee own they pay more lawmore was with the job they will require to do management. Ask us to do 3 task for task at a time. It means we have to do more work for less pay

Our coworkers. We care for each other, and back each other up. The work itself if physical and feels fulfilling. The customers are sometimes a bother but overall dont cause us issues.

Actually post the real wage on your site. The company posted 17 an hour for part time, when the cap at the time was 16.50. Have management remember who you actually are, give them time to do the interview without being interrupted.

They've had years to fix issues that plaque numerous stores. Bottom line is WinCo doesn't care about its employees. It's all about profit and how to cut corners to make managers huge bonuses while employees get crumbs.
