Preguntado a all employees at University of Utah

  • Extremely difficult. They have a four-point performance scale where 1 is underperforming, 2 is adequately performing, 3 is going well above and beyond, and 4 was described as "godlike". Everyone gets a 2 unless you're well-liked by management and have never made a mistake in your entire life. You get a 1 if you have made even one small mistake or ask for clarity on a task. If you get a 1 within 6 months of hire, you are fired.

Preguntado a la IT Department at University of Utah

  • Absolutely terrible. Only the worst people work at the University of Utah.

  • Terrible. An analyst from another department would constantly do my work before I had a chance, which prevented me from learning my job for the first two months. Then, when the third month rolled around and I still wasn't proficient, they wondered why I wasn't doing well and proceeded to berate me and refer to me as incompetent. It is a toxic atmosphere. Do not work here.

They will not pitch in, they will not answer questions, and they even photograph you during meetings or while you're away from your desk. They use these photos to make up stories about you and pass them around the office. I wish I were making this up.
