very supportive of all staff
I really have no opinion
Each area in the University is like a small corporation. Some great, some not. The Advancement area has been under new leadership for the last three years. I have been SO grateful. The desire to provide the best for the University is reflected in providing the best for their teams.
Kind hardworking integrity focused driven
The campus community in my College really cares about one another. Everyone genuinely enjoys working together.
Leniency and flexibility, getting out of peoples hair so they can do their jobs. Not being so judging of people not like them. Treat employees with respect instead of outward annoyance and contempt.
Focus more on accommodating employees feelings
Literally everything. The culture is the worst part and it needs to be changed. You have the power to do this. Stop accepting tattling and back biting.
Leadership is awful. Rather than improving things, it's just "same old" around here. You can't speak up, lest you get fired.

inexpensive and four more words
We have incredible benefits for health and education.
The University provides great benefits. Yes - it's a problem in a way, because you need take home pay, also. The benefits compensate for most.
We all deserve better pay.
The UofU generally underpays people. However the benefits are amazing and make up a lot for it.
Compensation is low but the benefits are fantastic

Just having more positive attitudes.
Stop backbiting, tattling, and infighting. Try respecting your colleagues, especially if they're new to the organization. They don't need to prove themselves to you.
Get rid of the cliques and improve cohesiveness. Stop allowing employees to single out and harass others. Build a supportive environment, not a competitive one.
supportive learning, eager helpers, great team interactions
Most people genuinely want to help, but it’s difficult to do so because of managemen
The atmosphere and the majority of the people. I am fortunate to work with positive people around me and if I have questions, our supervisor line is always there to assist, with no judgment.
The current Interim Chief Alumni Relations Officer has focused on strengths and a positive culture. She's been moving the proverbial ship in the ocean!
My mentor gives good feedback when I have questions.
Loosen the dress code and let people work from home when possible
It's a good environment. Recently they changed scheduling for psych techs to self scheduling and a lot of the psych techs are unhappy about this. I think it will even out but there is a lot of negativity about the change.
Stop backbiting and infighting. Stop tattling. Stop treating others with disrespect. Help those who need it without demeaning them.
Be positive and make sure to recognize all employees, as needed.
