I've been here for years, and while there are certainly problems with compensation at the moment, I feel the pros outweigh the cons, at least for me. I'm happy here and feel I have room to continue growing so I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

The focus on employees first is huge. I never feel tethered to my desk or like I need to work if I have a major personal/family matter happening.

I really like that they get to know the employees and frequently take part in our diversity, inclusion, belonging initiatives, not just as a face in the crowd but as active participants that contribute meaningfully.

They take the time to get to know employees, both old and new, and even those in totally separate orgs. They don't come off as C-level execs sometimes do, and I mean that in the best of ways.

Employees are really cared for first and foremost. If an employee needs to step away to take care of something urgent, it's never frowned upon and I always know my team and manager have my back! Just don't abuse this policy :)

The company offered competitive compensation a few years back but hasn't taken the appropriate steps to increase pay for current employees. If there was an across-the-board review of compensation with a goal of at least matching other similar companies, that'd certainly help.

My team is a crew of dedicated, caring, and hard-working people, but we all have a great work-life balance so I never feel pressured to keep pushing it past 5. In fact, it's more the opposite, and taking vacation time is always encouraged.

A better market comparison would help. Radford data isn't always the best thing to look at to understand the whole picture. More needs to be done, especially to retain employees that have been here over 5 years. Too often do I hear about people taking their sabbatical then leaving.
