How flexible is your work schedule at Gartner?
Very flexible. The biggest advantage being an employee.
In Research Business Operations, we're pretty flexible. Much of the team works in various locations (remote), so we interact virtually a lot. Most of us get to work from home a couple of days per week. Traffic is really bad in CT, so there's also an understanding and flexibility for arrival and departure time.
How does Gartner make decisions around promotions?
Promoting yes men and backing up their decision with fake metrics.

How's the feedback proccess at Gartner?
Not much going on. Managers communicate that everything is hunky-dory. At the end of the year they present you a 50 point list with all the things you did wrong throughout the year.
It's a coaching environment so you are receiving constant feedback
How do I do well in an interview at Gartner?
Use a lot of buzzwords. I attended interviews, that that's what managers are looking for. The more jargon the better.
Do your research and make sure you understand what Gartner does.

Grueling and totally unrelated to the real job requirements.
