I know that for the position I am in, the experience I have and my responsibilities, I am not paid fairly. This is countered by the promise of promotion but if that promotion doesn't come, I will reconsider my position at HubSpot.

When I noticed that I was drastically underpaid compared to my team, I had to fight to be paid equally. I also highlighted that we were all underpaid compared to the industry standard and had to fight for all of us to get raises. It has also been an actual fight to get recognition and promotions.

With the change announced in the Partner Development Manager role recently there is still too much uncertainty around what our compensation would be. As a Core CC I feel that what we do is undervalued from a compensation standpoint compared to the rest of the tech market.

Pay all departments competitively. Consider paying for additional skills acquired through formal accredited higher education. Why offer tuition reimbursement if you flat out say you don't want to compensate employees for the additional knowledge they gain?
