HubSpot Environment Employee Reviews

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The genuine care people have for others and for doing a good job. It's a very high bar set for achievement.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The transparency and flexibility, along with the support for families

Review from IT Dept

The people are really helpful and have this positive aura all the time

Review from HR Dept

Care for us to grow

Review from Engineering Dept

- Customer focus. - Can do attitude across the board.

Review from Design Dept

People are helpful and collaborative - even in a distributed world.

Review from HR Dept

The fact that Hubspot invests in teams/people meeting up in person

Review from Product Dept

Lovely people, good working culture, smart colleagues, amazing problem space and opportunity

Review from Product Dept

It's uniquely empathetic and supportive. I look forward to spending time with coworkers and the office

Review from Marketing Dept

That most if not all HubSpotters I've interacted with demonstrate HEART

Review from HR Dept

remote working, remote connect ups

Review from Sales Dept

Everyone is aligned to the company mission and everyone plays a role to make the company successful by working together

Review from HR Dept

It's incredibly inclusive. While I can't speak for everyone, it feels like there is not a person of any demographic that isn't welcomed at HubSpot.

Review from Engineering Dept

the open space to 'fail' and figure out went wrong, shamelessly to get it right the next time

Review from Product Dept

The people at HubSpot are incredible. The underlying culture has remained unchanged through out the years

Review from Product Dept

We like to be social and connect outside of just the things we work on.

Review from Engineering Dept

That I own my own schedule and work and my manager supports it. I work when I want and on prioritise my own work.

Review from Customer Success Dept

"High performance culture" encourages a fast pace and flexible work options allow you to work where is best for you

Review from Sales Dept

It's really summed up in our HEART values! Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, and Transparent. I also love how I can bring my authentic self to work and have autonomy and trust from my manager to get my job done.

Review from Operations Dept

That the culture is real, you can really feel it

Review from Customer Success Dept

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Leadership seems to be trying to keep growth going via lower costs (layoffs/attrition), mandates for higher quality and push for speed. By redefining culture to push for green squares, producing things constantly, and creating a punitive culture for ill-defined lack of quality, it's a losing game.

Review from Product Dept

company culture varies significantly by region. I get along great with peers (though not from my own team)/cross-functionally from the same region + APAC but am seeing issues with direct peers (same team) from NAM. less of a team spirit from NAM, focus on individual achievements (? greater goo

Review from Customer Support Dept

Pay employees more and spend far less time trying to market the jobs to the employees. We spend hours in meetings, going over the same issues. If we were comped better, people would be more motivated and would actually care about what is happening here. There is no reason to put energy in.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Modernize it to current market conditions and company size. UGJ is a sham. Inject accountability and attention to outcomes into our culture. Stop avoiding uncomfortable/constructive feedback.

Review from Engineering Dept

I would be nice to see shared benefits across all offices. For the. Berlin office, it feel like they actively discourage folks from coming to the office, in contrast to Dublin for example

Review from Marketing Dept

We need a stronger learning culture at HubSpot and the time to learn. We also need an environment where people feel like an unlimited leave policy can actually be used without ramifications for their role and future at HubSpot. Perceived benefits are not real benefits since people cannot use them

Review from Sales Dept

Mor women in tech leadership–not just executive level but all management levels. Having role models is great but having a female boss who knows your work and can advocate for you is bette

Review from Product Dept

There's been a pattern of setting deadlines that are a crunch and stressful to make. I don't want to be as siloed and get more interactions with the team. There's a growing list of responsibilities that was not expected when joining.

Review from Engineering Dept

To understand we work with different markets around the world where customers have different needs

Review from Finance Dept

Allow everyone in the office in Sydney

Review from Sales Dept

The company needs to do a better job of communicating expectations.

Review from Engineering Dept

More transparency and a clearer more actionable vision/mission for the company as well and more consistent acknowledgement of work that is done well.

Review from HR Dept

Sales culture is still dominated by bro(ish) white males.
