If you aren't lucky "the great culture" is anything but with micro-managing, patronizing attitudes, lack of help, and lack of an appetite for the company to address things. DEI not taken seriously, Christianity is ingrained.

Specifically the team's I've been in - Lots of mentoring/supporting each other, very few egos. Company - Faux "friendly" culture, clear that upper management is not receptive to ideas unless it 100% aligns with what they think.

Get paid less than market, don't take into account where you are living, max "merit" increase is 4% which was disheartening when we were getting record profits during covid and high inflation - "Great job guys, here's your pay cut!
