My role is VP, but in Trilogy VP role is degraded to just take tickets from a queue and do them, this is not what people think VP should. Other problem is that Seinior VPs are hired based on their programming skills/experience, most of them do not have even basic understanding of management.

OVer the past few weeks, which were starting weeks for me, SLA were shortened to 1 hour, shifts scrambled and turned up to 12 hours each, a new task tracking system introduced, and then everything reverted within 2 weeks, all without considering employees' lives. They need to consider the humans.

They have 0 retention, and 0 focus on the human aspect of work. We're being told we should act like machines in a factory assembly line, and the whole work structure is centered around that idea. Also, work culture is rather solitary even by remote work standards, and no effort is put to change it.

Nobody in our leadership team (above me) cares about people at all. They'd just as soon fire me than tell me I've done a decent job, and people below me have even less support. This company starts the discussion about agents assuming they will be fired, and it's up to their CSM to prove differently.

Management needs to change their attitude towards workings and start that acknowledging that employees add value and that they are not just costs that should always be treated as if they are just gaming the system and adding no value.
