It's been a rollercoaster. The beginning of my time with the company was awesome, but with time came the turnover of staff and new staff created a very toxic environment that upper management was either unwilling or unable to address. It has only gotten worse.

There's literally nothing positive about our company culture at the station level, right now; it's been a pretty toxic environment for the past several months.

Treating their employees like human beings rather than like numbers. Nexstar corporate does not care about their employees and it shows in the poor pay, old equipment, and exhausted workforce.

I work in a very toxic environment where negativity is prevalent and positive affirmations or feedback are very scarce. We're all overworked and underpaid, and for that, we're all frustrated and have negative attitudes.

I'm a department head and I don't even make a liveable wage. I have to live with a roommate. The fact that I can't support myself on a salary as a member of management is kind of ridiculous. I feel like I constantly have more and more dropped in my lap and I haven't had a raise in two years.
