  • Coworkers are the best! Bear in mind, to many of us, we were already a great group before we were bought by them. Being bought by them had initially made for a lot of tension or uneasiness. Be prepared to not get a raise.

  • We all love our co-workers and want what is best for them but Nexstar is not it. Unfortunately our station will suffer with the loss because of who owns us.

  • It seems rather slow at times, but because of poor planning, work gets dumped on everyone and the pace gets frantic very quickly.

  • It probably depends on whether you're in a station or at the corporate offices and, if the former, how large a market you're in. At my station, given its size, there's no growth opportunities. If you're in news, you can move to a larger market to expand your career, but otherwise, what you see is what you get.
