communicating their actual expectations with employees, not being degrading or humiliating in front of everyone. have WAY TOO HIGH of expectations. managers don't understand how much time and effort it takes to put a show together and don't understand how things work on a day to day basis.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
the benefits we get are great, particularly healthcare

I believe my current compensation at News Nation is, I know Nextar pays horrible at the local level.

They reduce positions work to ensure that they can pay the lowest required but expect you to work more than that. There is no growth.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
This company is practically a daycare for adults who can't stand criticism. The only employees they can afford are those who haven't been hired by a better company this is why they always have trouble hiring reporters and weather reporters.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
None. All work is poorly constructed, there is no advancement, no pay raises, minimum benefits, and threats for clocking overtime.

Actual respect. People just need to listen to other people's preferences and mental health needs.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The company has no oversight and provides only the minimum pay regardless of position. Overtime is frowned upon but expected so long as they don't have to pay it. Favoritism is rampant enough that you can destroy equipment and get away with it so long as someone in management backs you up.
