They listen to opinions from low to high ranking associates and are always open to new ideas. They also have an open door policy, which allows for great communication. The executive team is also very humble.

Our leaders are of a different breed, meaning they are compassionate about the wellbeing of every employee. I have yet to hear of any other company doing as much as they have done for their associates.

comp is ok, but home depots stock participation is ridiculous if you on a subsistence income. and the idea of banking stock purchase money until end of investment period, you lose income and reinvestment oportunity

They need to stop playing favorites and actually train new associates. They also need to relax when their understaffed, they treat the employees rudely when their stressed out. All in all I just work there for the pay.

Being greeted without prejudice. Being interviewed to see what position is available and what is the pay.

Very little. The department managers and interviewee did not know what department the potential associate was interviewing for. Only the store manager seem to have a clue. Lower level store management was cleary embarrassed.

Internal interviews are done when the hiring manager knows whom they want to place in the role and waste the time of others by interviewing individuals that have no chance at getting the role

While there are occasional morning associate meetings those that work routinely at other times are not EVER communicated with regarding the subject of those meetings leaving the associate feeling like they are NOT part of a team.
