It was on my own time, as well as on video so I could stay at home.
Review from Operations Dept
Opportunity to speak with several people
They were thorough and asked actual interview questions
They say all the right things. They make yoi believe like you can grow within the company and can move to bigger cities that are within the company. All of it is a lie. Management will sandbag you because theyre bitter you want to leave.
It was very informal but also a test to see how much I knew.
It was very easy and conversational
Nexstar is desperate for employees.
Today, I think they will hire anyone with a pulse.
The took me out for a nice meal.
Easy to get a job. Mo one thats worth a shit wants to work there.
It was fairly easy for them to hire me
I was hired under a previous owner. I’ve talked to new hires who speak well of the interview proces
Never really had one, hired through connection.
Review from Operations Dept
There was better management at the time. IT was very relaxed and real.
It seems very simple and straight forward
I don't remember the whole interview process, as I've been here for two years, but everyone seemed friendly.
I liked the gm initially, but he chooses to let his manager direct his thinking.
Managers responsibility, not mine to say.
I have not interviewed with any Nexstar executives.
Actually learn how to properly interview. Not that it matters because they can only afford those who have no other options.
Review from Operations Dept
They should bring people to the station more during the process.
