I have given close to/over 40 hours a week to the company with promises of a pay raise and a change of position. I did not receive a raise until five months later (granted, I was still doing the work) and never received the change of position. I'm wondering if I should seek compensation or a new job

We work and are unexpectedly to do everything but not payed enough for what we do

I dont think it's fair that we get too busy to take a lunch, but are automatically clocked out for a half hour per shift regardless if we take one. It's frusterating to be around yummy smelling treats and coffee just to not be able to eat ANYTHING your whole shift.
