Review from Operations Dept
Management team promotes people with no seniority and less experience verses employees who have shown loyalty with the company. Favoritism and nepotism is encouraged and rampant.
Review from Operations Dept
They seem to be there when you need them
Review from Operations Dept
Our current leadership team is committed to working with store-level employees to create a secure and functioning workplace environment
Review from Operations Dept
There is always someone I can quickly turn to for answers and if they don’t know, they will find out. The leadership team works closely with all our employees
Review from Operations Dept
I like that most of them are at least accessible and make themselves available when needed
Review from Operations Dept
Giving whistleblowers a fair hearing. If they would only take our complaints of workplace harassment seriously, then I would recommend working at this company. As it stands, Costco is about as corrupt as the Democrat Party.
Review from Operations Dept
communication and not falsely encouraging growth that they aren't willing to give
Review from Operations Dept
Learn how to be a leader rather than a boss. Management needs to treat employees as humans rather than a number.
Review from Operations Dept
Communication,be more proactive,have a plan
Review from Operations Dept
zero communication. the guys leading the charge have little idea about reality of running a warehouse in todays climate. Most are relics and have not been in warehouse operations for SEVERAL years. Way too limited with employees and help throughout the day to operate and take care of members
Review from Operations Dept
Only the medical benefits, including dental and eye care.
Review from Operations Dept
Profit sharing contribution and eye and medical and dental benefits.
Review from Operations Dept
Raise increments and time off accruals
Review from Operations Dept
The vast variety of choices make our benefit packages great to accommodate all of our employees.
Review from Operations Dept
the rate of growth on my 401k
Review from Operations Dept
Employees at costco start at $16/hour when a mile up the road at walmart starting pay is $25/hour and even taco bell starts at $17.50/ hour. Part time employees are forced to work 5 days a week.. just awful! These are the reasons why people are chomping at the bit to leave costco.
Review from Operations Dept
The benefits package is horrible. I would like to see them improve in this section
Review from Operations Dept
need more benefits for managers. no bonus, sick time roll over, lousy raises, long hours, on call 24-7 with no compensation, no stock options, low company match
Review from Operations Dept
New management who do not care about the people doing the work have to say..
Review from Operations Dept
Costco may still be at the top for the industry, but entry level is average at best.
Review from Operations Dept
My coworkers are great and encouraging, managers not so great
Review from Operations Dept
My department works well, but have a hard time volunteering to help other departments in need.
Review from Operations Dept
We can all relate and it’s a mix of different people wor
Review from Operations Dept
Nothing to state at this time
Review from Operations Dept
Our team is very close. It feels like working with friends which helps us all communicate more effectively which allows us to be more productive. ANYBODY in business knows that keeping your employees happy is invaluable toward the success of the business.
Review from Operations Dept
Employees are uneducated in most locations.
Review from Operations Dept
Working on solutions rather then just complaining
Review from Operations Dept
I would like to be informed of more things going on
Review from Operations Dept
We have a lot of workers who show up to work defeated, their day has not even started yet and their morale is crushed and their bad attitude rubs off on everyone.
Review from Operations Dept
my staff is generally very good. We need more help and support from upper management
Review from Operations Dept
The regular hardworking employees are in agreement with the insane levels of corruption and nepotism that seems to be the culture at every Costco warehouse.
Review from Operations Dept
The culture is toxic at costco and it stems from the top down. We need better starting pay, and part timers need to work amaximum of 3-4 days a week.
Review from Operations Dept
Pay and benefits are great! Culture of nepotism, favoritism, and giving tone deaf treatment to employees not well liked.
Review from Operations Dept
We can cover each other if needed
Review from Operations Dept
Level of comfort in position
Review from Operations Dept
Communication and manager change would be great
Review from Operations Dept
Training new employees their job responsibiltties by seasoned employees to help them be more comfortable in their jobs, turnover seems extreme, but no training costs I can see
Review from Operations Dept
When I started everything was looking up. Lately with a new CEO tons of promotions and people who are not ready to lead has really hurt the company.
Review from Operations Dept
better trainings before, work councils
Review from Operations Dept
Value your employees and the experience they bring... anyone below a supervisor is treated like a nobody
Review from Operations Dept
I was able to meet several supervisors and managers.
Review from Operations Dept
Interviewing with more then one person
Review from Operations Dept
They were straight up when explaining what they were expecting from me
Review from Operations Dept
I liked going into it with the knowledge that I had the job for certain and all I had to do was pass a drug test which I knew would be no problem
Review from Operations Dept
the empathy and calmed mood that had my interviewer
Review from Operations Dept
Favoritism shouldnt be considered when choosing the applicant, but always is at our costco. Time in position and company no longer matters at costco.
Review from Operations Dept
To be less judgemental and be eager to give applicants a chance.
Review from Operations Dept
Speed of follow-ups, and efficiency in getting orientations completed
Review from Operations Dept
Interacting with our delivery drivers. Being able to give them a good end to a long day
Review from Operations Dept
The fact of knowing I am helping feed the community, self gratification of seeing my work touch others
Review from Operations Dept
Helping customers and helping my co workers.
Review from Operations Dept
Interacting with some of my coworkers
Review from Operations Dept
The access and ability to complete tasks in an efficient manner
Review from Operations Dept
Never mond you do what you like any way even humem resources represented by one man was bullying
Review from Operations Dept
1. Higher wages 2. 4 day work week for part timers 3. Management needs to go to classes around treating others with respect and how to be a leader not a boss.
Review from Operations Dept
Our warehouse manager seem to only worry about building performance to the point of getting his bonuses. Where a little more care towards the employees and hiring a larger staff would improve moral and customer interactions.
Review from Operations Dept
It starts at the top and trickles down to those at the bottom. At least where I have worked nobody takes the proper time to teach, so you can imagine what the future holds and has showed.
Review from Operations Dept
need more help in warehouse. payroll way too low and the shots being called by people who are not equipped to make these decisions.
