Costco Interviews Employee Reviews

What did you like most about the interview process?

Straightforward and professional. I appreciated the clear expectations, timely communication, and the focus on real-world experience. It felt like they genuinely wanted to understand my strengths and how I could contribute to the team. That made me feel respected and confident going in.

Seeing how enthusiastic the interviewers were about the company. They sold me on how valued the Costco employee is.

The hiring managers recognized and valued the experience and wisdom I was bringing to the company.

I knew the day of that i got the job. But at both times i had a interview friends put in a good word before hand

Open and warm. The interview was straightforward.

Meeting the new people that are trying to get with the company

Young supervisor just reading off a script

I am told immediately after what I did well at during my interview.

It was very detailed. The team that did my interview were nice.

It was quick and painless with the 1st and 2nd interviews being done at once with 2 managers.

They kept it short and and simple

Polite, dignified approach at interviewing.

The interviewee's positivity toward the company.

I already knew the managers because I worked for CDS. It was a pleasant interview process.

It was very conversational and didn't feel like a high pressure situation.

I was hired as the independent contract

Review from Customer Support Dept

What would you improve about your company's interview process?

Drug test on the spot

Lesrn hiw to mitivate the staff instead of putting them down

Review from Product Dept

People need to be trained better

Review from Customer Success Dept

Hire people that knpw what thier talking about

Nothing off the top of my head, it's valuable to have SMEs on the interiew

Let me choose my department

More efficient and organized last time it seems like no one knew what they were doing

The manager interviewing me could not spell certain basic words and so I had to right on my own report for her. The questions were almost more school related.

Making it not so strict and more private,. They interviewed me in the food court so I had no privacy

Using my skills and qualifications to offer me an actual position that fits my expectations and requirements.

Treat them fairly as soon as possible

Need to have a room for exchange of private information. Not hold it in a public food bar.

The process isn't bad, but the pool and quality of personel is woeful. Retail only attracts immigrants in need of security.

First, stoppong by been intimidating everytime (with two interviewers for one employee). Everytime, you have the impressions to getting into a court trial.

Review from Product Dept

I wish the "hiring pool" at my company doesn't intentionally exclude non-minorities like myself. In my opinion hiring should be based on merit, not appearance.

More simple questions about the character of a person

They make people come babk days on end cause agm are to busy . No ones on the same page

Lack of transparency within the company

Hire safer forklift drivers immediately

More personal and more humans
