At an Enterprise level CGI leadership does an amazing job with their processes and staying connected with their employees.
Most people on my team are great team players. Unfortunately we have one bad apple who is ruining the work environment for the rest of the team.
Benefits overall are really good. What is lacking is PTO, but more importantly Insurance. The Health insurance has such a high deductible it's like you don't have insurance.
They said everything I wanted to hear. Unfortunately they said everything I wanted to hear. The position doesn't even come close to the interview or job description. In essence , "they needed a body."
CGI really needs to staff contracts with enough people to do the work, send people to conferences, and evolve with the industry. It feels like I have gone back in time at least fifteen years.
CGI has a lot of people that have homesteaded fifteen plus years. In order for CGI to evolve they need to hire some mid to upper level management from the outside, preferably from some more progressive companies to bring in new ideas and tech from this decade. Change has to come from the top down.
