I am going on 10 years of employment with CNB and I hope to have many more years working here. The amount of trust I feel that CNB has in me is truly something I will never take for granted. I am extremely grateful to have had an opportunity to partner with such a meaningful and powerful company.
My favorite benefit CNB offers is the 2 weeks paid family leave offered to adoptive parents.
That my current comp isn't permanent. What sets CNB apart here is the opportunity they provide to grow. Throughout my employment with CNB/BciCapital I have had the opportunity to do many different positions and expand my skillset, increasing my value as a teammate.
The sense of humor amongst the staff at CNB has to be my favorite thing about them. Day to day work can be grueling at times, but having people alongside you doing the tasks with you and laughing along the way makes things more fun.
Having worked with CNB for almost 10 years, I can confidently state that I have always felt the executive management team at CNB is transparent and relatable. I find these qualities to play an important factor in my employee engagement, and feel that is direct correlation to my tenure.
As an employee of almost 8 years, they have never waivered from being family oriented. Family has always been an important part of my life and CNB has proven their support of my family on numerous occasions throughout the years. They truly care about the happiness of their people.
Solving problems, improving process, and sharing the CNB brand and experience. This has been the first company I have worked for where I could share firsthand experiences with others where this company went the extra mile because they truly cared and not because going the extra mile benefitted THEM.
Jorge is truly an outstanding CEO. One of my favorite things about Jorge is that he is a CEO that puts goals into terms for the team in a manner that is relatable. He explains the "why" behind our goals vs just posting expectations. It becomes about the group vs about him.
If I had room at my table for the Holidays, I would honestly invite most of the people that I work with over for our family holiday dinner. I don't see my teammates as coworkers, we are more like friends. We share life experiences together which in turn makes the culture feel less "corporate".
Unfortunately given turnover I do feel we have hired teammates who do not necessarily live the "why" or understand our brand as some of our past teammates did. I feel this is extremely important in maintaining our incredible culture. We aren't hired to just do a job, we are hired to make an impact.
I love problem solving and helping others grow and develop. I sincerely love working for CNB and have a passion for their brand, so some may say I have become a "Culture Carrier". I love that I can use my passion for CNB to inspire people I interact with on a daily basis. It is truly a blessing.
