Fairly transparent (at least they appear to be). They make a good effort to keep everyone informed and seem like they actually pay attention to feedback.

In my experience people at MITRE have generally been wonderfully inclusive and collaborative. A few pockets of bro culture and intelligent yet condescending individuals but most people are great.

Focus on unbiased integrity and honesty with our government sponsors seems to be slowly eroding with the shift toward exploring more for-profit activities. We have a stellar reputation for being trusted advisors. Don't lose it.
