A well-rounded and knowledgeable team that works very well across departments/functions.
Regular reviews - not a lot of room for major increases, but consistent 1 to 3 percent annual increases.
Multiple opportunities to meet with not only the hiring manager, but the entire team(s) that the role will support.
The opportunity to do what I do best every day, set (within reason) my own priorities, and contribute in the areas I feel to be of most value vs. a task-based management/environement.
Transparent and frequent communication of strategy and expectations. Like most large enterprises, strategy shifts frequently, which can be frustrating for staff, but the leadership team does a good job of keeping staff up to date.
Like many companies, staff can carry negativity and spread it... I have found that one negative mid-level manager or even a few individual contributors can "rub off" on others at OpenText. I don't think the culture is any better or worse than most.
