    Highly manager and team dependent. Some managers expect overtime and they themselves work tons of overtime. Others are lax and chill. Poor communication appears to be on every team where the left doesn't know what the right hand is doing even with status meetings.

  • Stale, old, rigid. All business. Nota fun atmosphere. Low energy. Very stressful

  • The culture is driven by production numbers. Any other mentality is suppressed.

    It's very hard to get a salary increase above 5%. Anything more will involve leaving the company, even if you get the highest evaluation.

  • Bonus.

  • Pay is good and they're making strides to bring benefits like paternity leave into the modern era.

    Success is not obtainable, until you drink the Kool-Aid. In this case, the Kool-Aid is the "good ol' boy's club" and the only way you'll ever get close enough to drink it is to abandon all hope of success and growth.

  • Everyone is measured against the corporate goal tree and Thermo's 4i's.

  • Abusing HR confidentiality standards and/or coaching management to circumvent company policy seem to be their preferred methods during the COVID-19 pandemic. But those methods may be substituted by any/all of the following (including, but not limited to) : Defamation, demotion, isolation, harassment, mistreatment, etc... at any time, for any reason...

  • Always to protect the company. No support of employee's rights or interests. There are no "people" in this company, just #'s.

  • Technical skills are not valued and teams keep losing top talent to competitors which is now resulting in technical debt piling on. Technical skills need to be valued and the pay for engineers competitive to other companies. Base salary is only one component of compensation for engineers; competitors are offering stock/stock options and flex hours now.

  • Promote a Millennial culture. Attract better talent.

  • Unknown. If it is anything like being a regular hourly employee, then I imagine it's pretty painful and difficult to stomach on a daily basis. They're probably paid less to forsake their dreams and goals, in hopes that they'll "earn" placement within the company.

  • There is a policy to pay on the lower end of the mean and rely on the concept of “total comp” to justify the fact that they would pay a bit lower than the competitors. For businesses that are not core business segments outside the standard instrumentation side of the business the compensation is well beneath market
