How does your company’s mission figure into your stance on anti-racism and DEI policies?
Curriculum Associates’ longstanding mission to improve learning and teaching is a natural driver of many of their recent initiatives. Along with ensuring high-quality, engaging, and culturally relevant content in all of its products, CA has strengthened how its programs reflect and engage with a variety of authentic, diverse teaching voices, in order to ultimately deliver equitable learning experiences for all students. This work will support change in classrooms across the country and will extend the mission of CA to contribute increasingly equitable experiences for all students who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) as well as those with disabilities. In addition to product-centric initiatives, CA has made it a priority to sustain an internal culture that provides an equitable workplace environment to promote diversity and inclusion at all levels, including mandatory internal anti-racism training, the formation of several identity-focused employee resource groups, instating a newly created role of Chief Inclusion Officer, and a restructuring of the hiring practices to make recruiting a more equitable and inclusive process.

How does your company’s product support DEI and anti-racism efforts?
Through Chipotle’s round-up for real change program, guests have supported underserved communities, raising over $8.5M since launching in 2020, by rounding up their bill to the next highest dollar amount at checkout on the Chipotle app or Chipotle.com. These funds have supported organizations like the National Urban League, Kids In Need, and Project 10X | Local Initiatives Support Corporation’s (LISC’s) Initiative for Racial Equity, which raises funds to help close the 10X gap in health, wealth, and investment in Black communities.
How does your company’s mission figure into your stance on anti-racism and DEI policies?
