The only thing I like about MUSC are the people I work with. Employees are leaving in by the 100s. Short staffed, over-worked, under-appreciated, and mistreated by both patients and leadership. Our department alone has more than 12 nurses leaving by the end of the month!

We are over-worked, underpaid, under-appreciated and feel like those over is don't care. The staff bonds over their general displeasure at working there and are constantly looking for other options at a better life!

Actually caring about staff and patient safety and nit gaslighting their nurses, by dangling retention bonuses over them they have no intention of paying. You can offer 20K sign on bonuses and pay traveling staff but nothing for loyal employees.
